Mirzamani Art is a mixed media installation by Jasmine Mirzamani that blends fashion, digital media, and sustainability. The work features hand-painted and digital prints on garments, each one beginning as a secondhand item and transformed through surreal visual art. Using thrifted clothing as both canvas and concept, Jasmine fuses traditional painting with ironed-on digital drawings—blurring the line between the physical and digital, the past and the present. A video showing the garments at various stages will be included as part of the installation. It offers a glimpse behind the curtain, revealing the creative process of bringing new life to secondhand and handmade pieces. Using fabric paint, oil paint, and printed digital artwork, Jasmine transforms each item into a unique, wearable expression of art. Deeply influenced by her Iranian heritage, Jasmine weaves cultural memory into her visual storytelling. From symbols of protection to subtle references to Persian miniature painting, her work draws from a sense of the past, present and future.Themes of time, rebirth, and sustainability are core to this work, but so is the creation of surreal worlds. Jasmine's pieces exist in a liminal space where the ordinary becomes enchanted, and where personal history can be both worn and reimagined. Mirzamani Art invites viewers into a world that is fluid, expressive, and shifting—where discarded materials find new meaning, and where art moves with the body, guided by memory, imagination, and time.
