What's Digital Illusions?

About

Digital Illusions presents an array of interdisciplinary works at the intersection of art and technology, blending creativity and digital tools to produce innovative works. This exhibition features a variety of digital media art including interactive installations, experimental video that pushes the boundaries of visual and narrative storytelling, game design that defies traditional mechanics and player experiences, and even expressive animation that brings narratives to life. The exhibition explores technology and pushes the limits of creative expression in the digital age.

The title Digital Illusions can be used to describe works that create immersive experiences through technology. Digital illusions shape perception by using technology to alter or enhance reality. By blending the digital world and reality, Digital Illusions can create surreal or realistic experiences.

The various works showcased in this exhibition reflects the diverse practices and technical fluency cultivated within the Digital Media Art program. Each piece offers a compelling view of how today’s emerging artists shape contemporary digital culture. Through the fusion of art and technology, Digital Illusions offers a glimpse of the future of creative expression.
