Artist Statement

Bunnymania Dial 9 is interactive content that brings the art directly to the user’s smartphone, transforming the digital realm into something tangible, intimate, and accessible. Through nine strategically placed QR codes, viewers can access unique digital experiences that merge the connection between quick response codes and art. Filled with art full of vibrant illustrations, and animation, bunnymania brings life to people’s phones that explores mental health in a lighthearted manner through different characters.

Rachel Cave

Bio Rachel L. Cave is a multimedia artist and comic creator who was born and raised in Northern California. Her work consists of creating webcomics and digital illustrations that focus on mental health, nature, and her love of bunnies. She currently attends San Jose State University. Through her narrative works, she collaborates with many artists internationally in creating magazines and merchandise. Her goal is to jumpstart her webcomic series called “SILENT RESPONSIBILITIES” and learn how to enjoy writing and create her original characters.
