Untitled #8

Artist Statement

In this piece, I have combined my deep appreciation for the traditional painting medium with the possibilities offered by technology. Technology is increasingly integrated into our lives, and as the saying goes, ""Art imitates life."" We now see new forms of artwork being realized thanks to advancements in technology, as well as the integration of technology into the creative process. This integration of technology with traditional mediums allows for the reimagining and recycling of these traditional mediums, creating ""post-medium"" works that transcend their traditional roots.

In my work, I experimented with CodeArt using P5.js and Blender to generate visuals that were projected onto a self-portrait using Max 8. This piece flows almost as a stream of consciousness, reflecting on my life and the sense of spiritual emptiness and alienation I often feel. This spiritual unfulfillment and alienation can be traced back to my lack of resources, which forces me to ""Drone"" away at a minimum-wage job as I try my best to find a resolution.
